Children’s Day: Ranbir Kapoor spends time with kids in hospital

Mumbai, Nov 14 (IANS) On the occasion of Children’s Day Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor spent time narrating stories and singing for the children admitted at a hospital here.
“It’s my pleasure to be here. They actually called my mother as I was travelling. When I heard about it, I didn’t want to miss it,” said Ranbir while interacting with kids admitted at the Hinduja Hospital.
Ranbir sang the title song of his film “Bachna Ae Hasino” and even danced with the kids.
He also sat down with the kids and read out from “Jungle Book”.
Jaideep Sahni, writer of “Chak De! India” and “Khosla Ka Ghosla” also sat and talked to the kids for a while.
Ekta Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani, who couldn’t make it for the interaction sent a set of story books for the children.
Vijay Gupta, deputy director, marketing of Hinduja Hospital said: “From now onwards we will organise such sessions regularly in the hospital.”
