clipboard017Dec.15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Susan Boyle, none other than the one who topped the charts in UK, has just let it out that she is still struggling from depression that was caused by childhood bullying. In a recent interview she revealed that what she went through as a kid was ‘absolute hell’ for her and it may well be the cause of her adult life problems.

She said that she knows what a big chance she is taking revealing this, but she decided to be honest. She used to be made a complete “fool of” while at school, according to the star of Britain’s Got Talent. Susan Boyle also said that the bullying was of ‘psychological nature’, that has left ‘a scar on her’ and has also enraged her. The singer of “I dreamed a dream” last month said that her mother’s death [which took place in 2007] was a blow to her.

Susan Boyle further said that the trauma she went through in school, gives her ‘mood swings’ even now and leaves her in ‘fits of anger’ too. The singer is already leading the charts (before Christmas) and has even managed to horde in a sales of 274,000 albums, which is being reported to have crossed the mark of a million by Dec 13. Even after her bad experiences in life, the singer still resides in the same town where she was brought up and with the people she accuses of bullying her. Susan Boyle’s behavior is said to be weird, and has been an attraction for media time and again.

I had my share of bullying in school and it left me with emotional scars as well. I am so happy that Susan has been able to have success beyond her wildest dreams. That’s something that her childhood bullies can never take away from her! Congratulations, Susan! :)
