Cheryl won’t return until completely fit: Simon Cowell
July 21st, 2010 - 12:15 am ICT by IANSLondon, July 20 (IANS) Singer Cheryl Cole, who is recovering after being down with malaria, is eager to return to “The X-Factor” but her friend Simon Cowell insists he won’t let her return until she is completely fit.
“I had a few text messages from her over the last few days. Listen, it was serious. She was ill,” contactmusic.com quoted him as saying.
“We didn’t realise how ill but judging by the text messages I’ve had, she’s definitely looking forward to coming back to work. I think our job is to make sure she sure doesn’t come back too quick because I think she is bored out of her mind and going crazy.
“The worst is over. The texts are getting increasingly feisty so she is on the mend,” he added.
Cole reportedly contracted the mosquito-borne disease during a recent trip to Africa.
