Cheryl Cole plans alcohol free Christmas lunch
December 20th, 2011 - 10:57 am ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 20 (IANS) Singer Cheryl Cole is throwing an alcohol free Christmas party for her Girls Aloud bandmates.
The 28-year-old has invited Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding at her place for a festive get together where she will take charge of cooking but has taken booze off the menu because of Sarah’s recent stint in rehab.
“Cheryl is going all out. She has already ordered all the food and is determined to cook everything herself. She’s doing the full works, turkey with all the trimmings, and the lunch table will be laid with crackers and other traditional Christmas decorations,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
“But with Sarah having just left rehab, Cheryl doesn’t want to make it into a drunken dinner so isn’t planning on having any wine involved. It’s just a chance for the girls to catch up with each other before Christmas,” the source added.
