Cheryl Cole asked to return to ‘X Factor’
June 6th, 2011 - 8:54 pm ICT by IANSLondon, June 6 (IANS) Singer Cheryl Cole has reportedly been asked to return on the US version of “The X Factor” just days after being fired, but she may turn down the offer.
The 27-year-old has 24 hours to decide whether to return to the talent show, but fears that her return may be seen as damaging for her. Cole was shown the door as a judge on the talent show after only four days of filming by Fox TV executives who thought she had lost her “sparkle”, reports dailymail.co.uk
But now the bosses have offered Cole her job back on Saturday. Show sources pointed out that an official comment had never been released confirming Cole’s ousting and that her picture and biography had been kept up on the Fox “X Factor” website.
“The fact is that they did fire Cheryl. She’s now been offered her job back, but they have messed her around completely. She is debating what to do,” said a source close to Cole.
