Nov 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Goddess of Pop, Cher has made a comeback to film though her contemporary musical film “Burlesque” and the singer cum actress has been appreciated for her performance. The media outlets say that she sparkled in her role along with Christina Aguilera in the movie where the former played the role of the owner and headliner of the Burlesque club. The actress in one of her interviews told a reputed media source that this movie reminded her of her struggling days.

Cher gave an exclusive interview to a reputed media source where she spoke about the movie and her co-star Christina Aguilera. In her interview, she said that the movie will remind the audience of the years they thought they are going to “keep trying”. When asked about her popularity, Cher said that she feels she is like a “bumper car” but the best quality in her is that she never stops. While speaking about her co-star in the movie, Christina Aguilera, the “I Got You Babe” singer said that both of them bonded in a “maternal” way on-screen but behind the camera they were like old friends who would continue to talk for hours.

Cher said that crew members of the “Burlesque” had to drag them apart as they would always talk on the set about relationships, personal lives etc. She jokingly said that it was a “girlfriend” moment off screen and “mother-daughter” moment on screen. The “Mask” actress said that she thoroughly enjoyed her scenes with Christina Aguilera. She said that she enjoyed the whole experience and the “Reflection” singer was “toe-to-toe” with her all the time.
