Aug 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Comedian Chelsea Handler has been roped in as the host of the next month’s Video Music Awards on MTV next month. The comic has already made some of her ambitious plans clear as she said that she would like to get Kanye West and Taylor Swift together again. She told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show that she is thinking of something clever to do with the young country singer and the famous rapper that would dissolve the reported clash between the two after last year’s incident.

Kanye West had interrupted Taylor Swift in the middle of her acceptance speech in last year’s VMAs. The action saw Kanye West turning into a villain in front of the media overnight. He then went on hiatus and chose to give, even prestigious awards like Grammys, a miss. The two stars were also rumored to be coming together on Saturday Night Live but it never worked out finally. Even though Kanye West has apologized for his actions, he has not been spotted in the vicinity of the ‘Love Story’ star. Chelsea Handler said that everyone loves Kanye West and Taylor Swift and it is time that the two stars come together. The representatives of both the stars could not be reached for comment.

The 35 year old comedian will take over as the host of MTV Video Music Awards from the racy British comic and fiance of Katy Perry, Russel Brand. The comedian is known for her cocky sense of humor and witty lines. She is also the author of a best selling book and hosts the late night comedy show ‘Chelsea Lately’. Chelsea Handler was also in the news earlier this year for posing nude for the Playboy magazine.
