The media has been swamped by what is seen as “bad teacher days” recently. First there was Tamara Hoffman who was involved in a love triangle with two of her students that caused one of the boys to die. Then there was Melissa Huckaby who raped and killed an eight year old girl. There was Jennifer Lea Burton booked for having a relationship with a 15-year old student and Kasey Johnes booked for sleeping with a 17 year old male student. Now there is Carlie Christine, a cheerleader coach for Casa Robles High School in Orangevale, California, fired for posing in the Playboy Magazine.

Christine was featured online as the Playboy’s running “Cyber Girl of the Week” in February. Cheerleaders who did not make it to the team because of unexcused absences had their parents submit copies of Carlie’s nude Playboy photos to the Principal who fired her immediately. Parents expressed outrage that such a young woman could pose in the Playboy without a thread on her body and still coach young aspiring children. A parent, on conditions of anonymity said, “And I was in shock that I knew the girls had seen it and knew about it.” 20-year old Carlie had used her own name when she did the photoshoot for Playboy and it did not take long for some snarky High School spoiltsport not allowed in the team to find out and alert others about her nude photos. The principal instantly fired her for being an internet softcore porn model.
