Chaz Bono presents Jennifer Elia with an engagement ring

The two have been engaged for the past two years but Chaz had refrained from giving the engagement ring because he had not completed his sexual change at that time.
Born a woman named Chastity Bono, Chaz underwent a procedure to change the sex to male. She was legally declared male in May 2010 and has since made several public appearances including being on the last season of Dancing with the Stars for six weeks.
Elia is ecstatic about the ring labeling it as “stunning,” “gorgeous” and “huge.”
Chaz gave the ring to Elia during the shooting of his reality show “Being Chaz.” The show premiered last Sunday on Oprah’s network OWN.
Chaz just handed the ring to Elia as a surprise without repeating the request for her to get married to him. After receiving the ring, Elia said that, “Wow, it’s gorgeous. Thank you so much.”
Elia has described herself as a bisexual. Last May, she spoke to CNN’s Piers Morgan and revealed that she is more attracted to Chaz as a man. Chaz is the child of stars Cher and Sonny Bono.
