Chaz Bono expects some weight loss to happen during ‘DWTS’ show
September 6th, 2011 - 7:31 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattNew York, Sept 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Chaz Bono is counting on his preparation towards the ABC hit show Dancing With The Stars to shed some weight. Chaz will be the partner of professional dancer Lacey Schwimmer during the contest.
Schwimmer informed People.com that, “He’s lost five pounds in six days. It’s so great. He says he’s not eating any differently, he’s just dancing… He’s such a great guy. He is so nice, and he’s such a kind person. He’s awesome. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner… When I first met him, he didn’t want to do anything that made him look silly. Now he’s all for it.”
Originally born a female, Chaz underwent sex change recently to become a man. He has come under criticism for the action. He is the child of Cher and Sonny Bono and was originally born Chastity Bono.
During the interview with People.com, Schwimmer revealed the reluctance of Chaz to perform to any of the songs of her parents. However with the show executives reportedly considering that, it seems she will have no option.
Chaz and Schwimmer are considered underdogs in the contest. They are not among the favorites who are likely to pick the title but they are determined to prove a point.
