Chattambinaadu’s grand opening
December 26th, 2009 - 12:47 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire ( Leave a comment )Chattambinaadu, starring Mammootty, opened in 80 centers yesterday. Directed by Shafi, the film has Mammootty sporting a different look and style as he plays Veerendra Mallaya, a Kannadiga.
The public response to the movie has been very good, as they have ranked the movie along the lines of Rajamanickyam and Mayavi. The film’s screenplay has been praised. However, the people haven’t liked the songs and audiences have found them below average.
The film ran houseful in Kerala in the opening shows. With the response that Chattambinaadu has got, it looks like Mammootty will have a positive ending to 2009.
