Chastain to receive Spotlight Award
December 30th, 2011 - 9:32 am ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 30 (IANS) Actress Jessica Chastain will receive the Spotlight Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival next month.
The 30-year-old will receive the award for her roles in films including “The Help”, “The Tree of Life”, “The Debt” and “Coriolanus”.
“Through a series of virtuoso performances, Jessica Chastain has established herself as one of the cinema’s most versatile and most sought after young actresses,” contactmusic.com quoted Harold Matzner , chairman of the festival, as saying.
The gala awards will take place Jan 7 at Palm Springs Convention Center, here.
