Charlie’s Angels 2011 trailer released

Los Angeles, May 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) ABC is bringing Charlie’s Angels back on the television. The trailer of the new show has been released on the Internet. The show will be airing every Thursday on ABC starting this fall.

Charlie’s Angels was popular in the 1970s as a show and a movie released with the same name was a huge success. Charlie’s Angels is credited with being the first show to place women at roles which were traditionally reserved for women. It was originally broadcasted on ABC from 1976 to 1981. Aaron Spelling and Leonard Goldberg were the producers of the show. Images of the upcoming show have been released on the Internet as well.

The show’s executives gave the lineup of the new Charlie’s Angels. The executives explained that, “There’s Abby (Taylor) a Park Avenue Princess who became a world-class thief. Then there’s Kate (Ilonzeh), a Miami cop who fell from grace, losing both her career and her fiancé. Finally there’s Gloria, a disgraced army lieutenant who has a way with explosives. When one of the angels’ missions ends in Gloria’s tragic death, Charlie persuades them to partner with Gloria’s childhood friend, Eve (Kelly), a street racer with a mysterious past.”

The series will start airing this fall on ABC.
