London, Jan 15 (ANI): Actor Charlie Sheen’s arrest on Christmas Day last year, has boosted ratings for his TV sitcom ‘Two And A Half Men’, capturing the biggest audience in over a year.

Sheen, 44, had been arrested and jailed after a heated argument with his wife Brooke Mueller, who alleged he threatened her with a knife, reports the Daily Express.

He was back at work on January 4 and shot his first episode for the show on January 8, and the bust-up seems to have worked in his favour, as he and his castmates crushed competition, snaring a season high with 17.3 million viewers on January 11.

Sheen faces charges of second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief. He is due in court later this month to ask officials to lift the protection order. (ANI)
