Nov 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) “Two and a Half Men” actor Charlie Sheen has filed for divorce from his third wife Brooke Mueller after two and half years of marriage. It seems that their marriage was marred when Charlie Sheen allegedly attacked Brooke Mueller last Christmas and his scandalous escapade in New York City hotel supposedly turned out to be the last nail in the coffin. The divorce papers are filed in Los Angeles Superior Court where Charlie Sheen has asked for joint custody of his sons.

However, the media outlets report that Brooke Mueller, a real estate investor has also filed for divorce separately where she asked for sole custody of her children and only visitation rights for Charlie Sheen. Charlie Sheen’s divorce documents states that the “Wall Street” actor would keep the family house in return of parting money which $757,689.70. Moreover, Charlie Sheen would pay $55,000 a month to support the children. The court documents also states that Charlie Sheen would be able to keep his expensive wrist watch collection. The media outlets have reported that the main reason for the split is his allegations of violence.

However, in the court documents, Charlie Sheen has reported that the main reason for separation is “irreconcilable differences”. Charlie Sheen was arrested on felony domestic violence charges after Brooke Mueller called police in their holiday home in Aspen, Colorado. during last Christmas. However, the felony charges were reduced later and then he was ordered to stay in Malibu rehab center for 30 days. In the divorce papers, Brooke Mueller has also mentioned that Charlie Sheen under no circumstances should pay less child support to her kids than what he provides to Denise Richards(his second wife) for their children Sam and Lola.
