Washington, Mar 5 (ANI): Troubled actor Charlie Sheen has revealed his plans to join close pal Sean Penn on a charity trip to Haiti, which was devastated by two earthquakes in January 2010.
“We’re going to do a couple things first and then it looks like we’re heading down [to Haiti]. And I’m excited as hell because, you know, if I can bring the attention of the world down there, then clearly this tsunami keeps cresting,” Contactmusic quoted Sheen as telling Access Hollywood Live.
Previously, in an interview with GQ magazine, Sean defended his friend, revealing he believes Charlie simply wants the world to “lighten” up.
He said: “When you divorce the moral judgments, which I prefer to do, I see a guy who has a clearer view of the nature of the world around him than is sometimes comfortable to have. (ANI)
