Melbourne, Feb 5 (ANI): Actor Charlie Sheen will reportedly face criminal charges for allegations of domestic violence against his wife Brooke Mueller.

According to TMZ, Sheen, 44, will be charged with felony menacing and misdemeanor assault.

Law enforcement sources say a criminal complaint may be filed against the Two and a Half Men star by either late Friday or early Monday morning, reports News.com.au.

Sheen allegedly pinning Mueller, 33, to the bed, and put a knife to her throat, threatening to kill her when the pair were holidaying in Aspen.

Mueller revealed when she asked Sheen for a divorce, he grabbed her neck and said: “You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I’ll kill you - your mother’s money means nothing, I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won’t leave any trace.”

However, Sheen has denied threatening his wife with a knife or choking her instead he said he and Mueller slapped each other on the arms.

Lawyers for Sheen and Mueller had earlier said the couple, parents to baby twin boys, wanted to reconcile and are working out their differences.

Sheen is father to three other children, from his marriage to Denise Richards and an earlier relationship.

On Monday the judge will hear arguments from lawyers to relax the protective order prohibiting any contact between the two. (ANI)
