Charlie Sheen revisits the Kelly Preston shooting incident
May 4th, 2011 - 7:40 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattVancouver, May 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Monday night at Vancouver, Charlie Sheen revisited an infamous incident from his past. In 1990, a shooting incident left Kelly Preston injured. The incident was blamed on Sheen but he is now saying something else.
As part of his “My Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour, Sheen said the incident was not as it was reported. He said it was Preston who actually pulled the trigger that resulted in her being injured. According to the account that Sheen gave, he was not even at the scene where the shot took place. He says he heard the gunshot from upstairs when he was downstairs drinking coffee on that fateful day.
He explained that shortly after hearing the gunshot, he rushed upstairs and found Preston lying naked on the stairs with blood covering her body. He said after the incident he knew that the public was going to blame him for the incident.
On Sheen’s account, Preston picked his pants and a gun which was inside the pocket of the pants dropped and accidentally went off. Sheen says the bullet ricocheted off the toilet and a porcelain before hitting Preston.
Sheen and Preston were engaged but they split shortly after the incident.
