The world can rest in peace. American actor Charlie Sheen is alive and kicking. According to reports which had hit the media a few days ago, Charlie Sheen had passed away in a snowboarding accident while he was holidaying in the snow capped mountains of Switzerland. The reports claimed that the actor had hit against a tree while he was skiing, the hit being fatal in nature! Well, this is not the first time that a popular American actor has fallen prey to a death hoax. It seems that more the people of the country are getting acquainted with social networking, more the rumors are being circulated.
The media reports say that the rumors originated in Twitter. An unrecognized user posted the news of Charlie Sheen’s death, with followers adding fuel to the fire. It was Denise Richards, Charlie Sheen’s ex wife who took the responsibility upon herself to clear the air about the actor’s death reports. In a post on Twitter, Denise Richards has written that not only is Charlie Sheen alive, he is also enjoying his Christmas holiday in the company of his two daughters.
Charlie Sheen must be dreading the Christmas season. If one recalls, it was during this time last year that the actor was arrested against charges of domestic violence and assault on his third wife Brooke Mueller. This year he was almost put to death! But one must agree that Christmas or no Christmas, Charlie Sheen has always remained in news for all the wrong reasons.
