New York, Sept 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The taping of Charlie Sheen’s roast took place last Saturday at the Sony Studios in Culver City. There were sizable members of the public including Sheen’s former wife Brooke Mueller at the event. The show will be aired on the 19th of September on Comedy Central. Interestingly, the date is the same day that the first episode in the season of Sheen’s former show “Two and a Half Men” will air on CBS.

Former boxing champ Mike Tyson was a roaster during the filming and he might have recalled his hey days when he broke the nose of fellow roaster Steve-O. It was more of Steve-O’s fault than it was Tyson’s because he decided to ram his face onto the clenched fist of the former heavyweight champion - bad idea!

Sheen was not as explosive as he has been for most part of the year. When he mounted the stage, he made apparent reference to the bosses of “Two and a Half Men” when he said that, “I did what everyone in America wants to do. I told my boss to f*** off. ”

Sheen was fired from his show at CBS earlier in the year when the bosses at the show decided they cannot tolerate his off-the screen actions any longer.
