Charlie Sheen Gets New Court Date

Aspen, May 30, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Charlie Sheen has been ordered to appear before the court yet once more. The court has set a date on the June 18. However, some sources state that he is also scheduled to appear in court for yet another session before that, that is, on June 7. Thankfully for the actor though, this might be one of the few last times that he is asked to appear before the court, if the statement of his attorney is to be believed. The actor’s attorney said that the next court appointments are going to be held in order to make sure that a final settlement is reached regarding the allegations, something that would be favorable for both sides and would suit the requirements of the District Attorney’s office.
Charlie Sheen is having to face one hearing after the other on the allegations of having abused his wife, Brooke Mueller. The incident occurred on Christmas night last year, following which Brooke Mueller filed a case of domestic violence on the Two And A Half Men” actor. A total of three charges have been levied against the actor, that of felony, assault and criminal mischief. Reports state that he had held his wife on gunpoint on Dec 25 last year.
If all the counts brought against the actor are proved, then he would have to face one to three years in jail. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him, and certain reports suggest that he has already reached an agreement, although tentative. According to reports, the deal would have the actor spend about 45 days behind bars, maybe less.
