Charlie Sheen dropped by US clothing firm

London, January 7 (ANI): US clothing firm Hanesbrands has decided to end its advertising campaign starring Two and Half Men star Charlie Sheen following his domestic violence arrest on Christmas day.

Company spokesman Matt Hall said it was a “pretty standard, straightforward call” made amid the allegations.

Hall further revealed that the 44-year-old actor would not have been retained when his contract expired in the middle of the year, reports the Mirror.

Sheen was taken into custody and charged with second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief, following a nasty argument with wife Brooke.

Brooke told cops Sheen put a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her, a claim denied by the star. (ANI)
