charlie-sheen Aspen, Jan 15 (THAINDIAN NEWS) An attorney for Charlie Sheen has asked a judge in Colorado not to let TV cameras record a court hearing next week. This court hearing is in the case of Charlie Sheen when he had threatened his wife Brooke with a knife in order to convince her to spend the festive season and the holidays with his family. He was also arrested on Christmas Day, on account of this.

Attorney Richie Cummins wrote in a motion filed Tuesday in Pitkin County District Court that the actor Charlie Sheen wants to preserve some privacy for his wife, Brooke, and also get a fair trial. So the TV cameras shouldn’t be allowed to record the court hearings.

It may be recalled that Brooke Mueller told Aspen, Colo., police that her husband, actor Charlie Sheen, had held her at knifepoint and threatened her, an affidavit. Prior to this Brooke had called 911 and said he assaulted and threatened her and then subsequently Charlie Sheen was arrested on Christmas day. However he was later released on bail. The prosecutors said that they would announce whether they would file charges against the star at his next court date Feb. 8. TMZ has reported Mueller was legally drunk when she made the 911 call and has recanted parts of her story to police.

The latest twist in the tale is that the estranged couple wants to get back together. The couple’s attorneys have said that the Sheens want to reconcile. At a hearing Jan. 20, a judge is set to consider their request to revise a protection order preventing them from communicating with each other.
