Dec. 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This Christmas was not a healthy one for actor Charlie Sheen as he was arrested in the morning of December 25, 2009. The checkered past of the actor was once again highlighted when he was arrested for domestic violence case. According to the reports, the actor was arrested from Colorado’s Pitkin County after a lady called 911 for help. Jeff Lumsden, the director of sheriff’s patrol said that he was booked to Pitkin County Jail of Colorado after his arrest. However, he was later released after posting a bond of $8,500. It has come to the news that the county judge has suggested some conditions that he would have to follow for his release.

Though Charlie Sheen was arrested for domestic violence charges, the name of the victim has not yet been released by the officials. It is speculated that Brooke Mueller, the third wife of Charlie Sheen was the victim of his assault. However, the spokesperson of the police department has only released the statement that the victim has not been hospitalized and is safe.

Stan Rosenfield, the publicist of Charlie Sheen also did not disclose the name of the person who has called up police for help. Referring to the speculations of people regarding Brooke Mueller, he suggested people that it would be better not to conclude anything until the official reports surface. Though it is unknown who has lodged the complaint of domestic violence, the news have affected the reputation of the actor. He is one of the highest paid comedians of these days, featuring in popular series like “Spin City” and “Two and A Half Men”.
