sequel shall have nothing to do with Nolan’s third Batman universe.

The Dark Knight Rises is expected to release in July 2012 and Superman in December 2012. However, according to the buzz there is nothing finalized as such as regards both the movies and not even the pre-production stage has yet been set up.

Thus, according to reports in a popular tabloid the producer has specifically stated that both the superheroes are separate from each other and not trying to enter  in each other’s territory.

This aspect of each remaining in his territory is going to be withheld, despite the fact that it will be Christopher Nolan who will be calling for the shots in both the projects which have been titled The Dark Knights and the Man of Steel respectively.

However, there are also reports that this third installment of the Batman series will be the last in the trilogy as Christopher Nolan wanted to make a trilogy right from the beginning. The fact that there are no plans to get beyond the trilogy as of now, as the focus is only set on the forth coming project and nothing else.

The Dark Knight Rises is to have Christian Bale portraying the eternal Bruce Wayne or Batman and The Man Of Steel will have Zack Synder directing the flick with the hunt for the right star to portray the superman still on.
