‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom’ star gets hero’s welcome in Agra
July 16th, 2010 - 12:34 am ICT by IANSAgra, July 15 (IANS) Sparsh Srivastav, one of the top stars of children’s dance reality show “Chak Dhoom Dhoom”, arrived in his hometown here Thursday to a tumultuous welcome.
As he landed at Agra Cantt railway station in the morning by Shatabdi Express, a huge crowd was there to welcome him. There was no end to dancing and drumming as he was taken in a procession to his alma mater John Milton Public School in an open jeep.
Sparsh told his admirers that he had reached this stage because of the love of Agraites whose support was crucial at every stage.
The little star exuded extraordinary confidence and said he would win and put up a much improved performance at every stage.
Sparsh was given a hearty welcome by children from many schools and a large gathering comprising representatives of several voluntary organisations.
“Sparsh is a shining star of Taj city and with Rakesh Maini doing pretty well in the ‘Indian Idol’, Agra’s name is all set to be firmly registered as a cultural centre on the country’s map,” Rajeev Gupta, president of Lok Swar told IANS.
Rajeev is mobilising support for the two stars who are now among the top six in their reality shows.
