Sep 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) After dating her for three years, Chad Lowe has finally married Producer Kim Painter in front of friends and family on the beach at the Terranea Resort in Los Angeles California at an oceanside wedding on Saturday.

According to ‘People’ magazine, Chad’s famous brother, Rob Lowe was the best man and the ring bearer was the daughter of Chad and Kim, fifteen month old Mabel. The couple began to date in 2007, a year after Chad split from his first wife, Hillary Swank. Mabel was born in 2009.

Hillary Swank and Chad Lowe shocked the world when they split in 2006 after being married for eight years, because they had seemed to be the perfect couple. Swank told ‘Vanity Fair’ at the time that it was she who initiated the end of their marriage. She claimed that Chad had “substance abuse problems” but never shared what the substance was which he was abusing. She did later say that he is sober now.

Swank began dating John Campisi who is a talent agent at ‘Creative Artists’ soon after her divorce from Lowe. She seems to be in no hurry to remarry, and stated, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” She also added, “I believe in the sanctity of marriage. John and I, you know, we were both in long marriages and it’s not something that we need to rush back into.”
