Las Vegas, Mar 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Celine Dion’s spokesperson has confirmed that the singer’s 4-month-old twins have been baptized in a ceremony involving about 200 friends and family members. The spokesperson said that, “It was a beautiful, traditional family ceremony.”

According to PEOPLE Magazine, the twins wore designer dresses from Baby Dior. The ceremony was held at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where five godparents stood for the children. In attendance were the physicians who made the pregnancy possible for the 43-year-old singer.

The hero at the ceremony though was the husband of Dion, Réne Angélil. Prayers and songs were held for Angélil during the ceremony. Angélil’s three older children from another marriage - Patrick, Jean-Pierre and Anne-Marie Angélil - were also present at the ceremony along with the twins’ big brother Rene Charles.

The baptism took place in Las Vegas and details of the baptism were first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Celine Dion is set for a live show in Vegas in the middle of the month. The singer subsequently had her first practice after the baptism ceremony. The live audience show would be held at the Caesars.
