Florida, Feb 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Singer Celine Dion is struggling to have a second baby. She had 4 unsuccessful rounds of in vitro fertilization so far, and hasn’t managed to conceive as yet. She is still hopeful about having a second child. She already has a 9-year-old son Rene-Charles. In an interview to PEOPLE, she says that she is going to try till she succeeds.

“I’m going to try until it works. “Five’s my lucky number,” she adds, “so this is the time it’s got to [work]” says Celine Dion. She has been giving herself hormone shots daily, and is trying her level best to be a mother, another time around. She is quite dedicated in her mission to have another baby, that she even endures the side effects of the hormones that she has to have daily.

They had a huge disappointment in August 2009 when the couple’s doctor had initially confirmed a pregnancy through in vitro fertilization. When the information became a speculation for the public, then Dion confirmed it to the media. However later, she found out the embryo had not been implanted successfully, hence she wasn’t pregnant at all. This was indeed a heartbreaking moment for the family. Since then she has had 3 other in vitro fertilizations, but they haven’t also worked out as yet.
