“Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew” Season 4 Kicks Off

Dec 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Much anticipated “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” season 4 was aired on VH1 where the group of celebrities were treated for alcohol and drug addiction by Dr. Drew Pinsky and his staffs at the Pasadena Recovery Center in Pasadena, California. This year the cast member includes Tiger Woods’ former mistress Rachel Uchitel, reality television stars Jason Wahler and Janice Dickinson, Franklin Lons, actors Jeremy London, Eric Roberts and musician Leif Garrett. The audience was shocked to the premiere as it chronicled the darker pasts of the renowned celebrities.
Supermodel Janice Dickinson broke down in tears in the “Celebrity Rehab” season 4 when she said that she had thoughts of suicide while she was fighting her addiction to alcohol and also prescription medication. She said that she had thoughts of suicide and at times she wanted to go to the bathroom and hang herself to end her life. Janice Dickinson also confessed that the shame of being abused by her father was painful to her. The audience saw that her counselor asking her to fight for her life. On the other hand Rachel Uchitel confessed that he love addiction was a serious problem. Moreover she said that she is an “alcoholic” and she is dependent on chemicals.
Rachel Uchitel also said that she hardly sleeps at night as she has also dealt with physical, mental as well as sexual abuse. Eric Roberts, brother of Julia Roberts, Frankie Lons, Jason Davis, Jason Wahler also undergo psychiatric and detox therapy in the show. Jason Davis also revealed his dark past admitting that it is because of his family he is suffering now and walking with a cane. He said that he wants to sober up himself to show the world that he has the right to live like a normal person.
