“Celebrity Apprentice” Remembers D’Marco Ray

rtayMar 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The third episode of the much acclaimed NBC reality series “Celebrity Apprentice” which was aired on the network last night, as expected, managed to received wide viewership. However, the latest segment of the hit reality show had a special element attached to it and the large number of viewers who had tuned in to watch the episode must have surely noticed it.

The third segment of the current season of “Celebrity Apprentice” reached its conclusion with note in the end saying that the episode was dedicated to D’Marco Ray, who was associated with the program’s sound department and unfortunately passed away after struggling with cancer earlier this year. Donald Trump’s reality series decided to give a final tribute to D’Marco Ray as he had been working in the sound department of the reality series for a considerable period of time and had also worked in the third season of the show before he succumbed to cancer in the month of February, this year. Reports have suggested that he was diagnosed with the deadly disease in the month of April, 2008 and since then had been battling the cancerous condition.

Meanwhile, reports have also revealed that apart from “Celebrity Apprentice,” D’Marco Ray had also been associated with hits shows such as “Project Runway: All-Star Challenge” as well as a number of other independent movies. He was also known for his film “Game” which starred actor Billy Dee Williams in one of the pivotal roles. Meanwhile, it has also come to light that in order to pay tribute to D’Marco Ray, the USC School of Cinematic Arts has established an in-memoriam piece dedicated to him.
