CBS Radio Correspondant Howard Arenstein And His Wife Arrested For Marijuana Possession

Oct 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) CBS Radio’s award-winning news correspondent and CBS News’ radio bureau manager Howard Arenstein has been arrested yesterday for growing marijuana plants in his backyard. The CBS spokesperson declined to comment anything about the issue. The law enforcement officials also said that along with Howard Arenstein, his wife Orly Azoulay has also been arrested on charges of growing marijuana.
D.C. police spokesman Lt. Nicholas Breul told a reputed media source that the police had previously received complains about the CBS Radio’s new correspondent and his wife. The law enforcement officials then released a search warrant and raided Howard Arenstein’s home. The police then found large marijuana plants in his backyard and also packed marijuana at his home. The CBS Radio news correspondent was also unavailable for any comments.
The D.C. police spokesman Lt. Nicholas Breul told in his statement that the police found out 11 mature marijuana plants of minimum 8 feet high and also the CBS Journalist kept six two-ounce bags of marijuana at his home. The investigators are of the opinion that Howard Arenstein had an intention to distribute it for money. Howard Arenstein’s wife Orly Azoulay is the correspondent for Yedioth Ahronoth, an Israeli newspaper. However, the police has declined to comment anything about the bail amounts of the couple. Howard Arenstein joined CBS News in 1984 as a writer and in 1987 he was shifted to CBS Radio. The CBS journalist has won two individual Edward R. Murrow awards for his contribution the news industry. In 2002 he won the award for feature reporting and in 2006 he won the award for wonderfully covering the first game of the Washington Nationals baseball team.
