Sep 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Wednesday night, the CBS came up with its new season of “Survivor” titled “Survivor: Nicaragua”. The show that brought a cluster of twenty participants belonging to different sectors of the society together in the jungles of Nicaragua turned out to be a pretty interesting one with lots of activities that are in general part of any premier episode. As was being rumored that the show this season will try to add some comedy to it, the first episode of “Survivor: Nicaragua” came up with some comic moments and along with the first elimination of the season.
The first episode of “Survivor: Nicaragua” introduced the twenty odd participants of the show to the viewers. The participants this time have been divided into two groups according to their ages. Former NFL coach Jimmy Johnson, who is the oldest member of the crew, was joined in the Espada tribe by members above 40 while another group titled La Flor tribe consisted of members aged below 40. Although the division of the two groups according to age led to some drama, “Survivor: Nicaragua” failed to make an impact that was made by “Survivor: Heroes vs Villains”.
Apart from the introduction bit, the first episode of “Survivor: Nicaragua” also came up with first elimination of th season. Wendy DeSmidt-Kohloff was kicked out of the show. Goat rancher Wendy DeSmidt-Kohloff who was a member of the Espada tribe, was marked as weakest candidate and also the weirdest by her tribemates. After the elimination the lady mentioned that she failed to connect with the people of her tribe. Jimmy Johnson also failed to lead his team to success in the first immunity challenge.
