CBS Employee Robert J. Halderman At The Core Of Extortion Plot Against David Letterman?

lettermanOct 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It has been brought to light that a CBS network employee has been alleged to be the prime suspect in the $2 million extortion plot that had hatched against the prolific late night talk show host David Letterman. According to reports brought to light by various new sources, it has been made evident that the network has reportedly suspended the alleged extortionist. Sources indicate that the suspect is Robert J. Halderman. However, since the Halderman’s name has not been revealed by the authorities yet, a source with knowledge of the entire episode, chose to give the name under conditions of anonymity.

Reportedly, the 51 year old Halderman has been placed under arrest. The CBS network has reportedly stated that [Halderman] was involved with the network’s true crime based show called “48 Hours.” In a year that has been ruled by quite a few high profile political scandals, the David Letterman sex scandal cum extortion plot is certainly gaining a lot of publicity and attention.

Since the veteran late night talk show host David Letterman made shocking revelations on the Thursday night segment of the “Late Show With David Letterman,” the entire media world has been thrown in to a frenzied overdrive to get more insights into the matter. Appearing on the show, Letterman had revealed that he had been the victim of a $2 million extortion attempt, shocking his fans.

Letterman admitted that he had been targeted by the unidentified person [supposedly Halderman] with the threat of leaking information regarding his illicit relationship with a member of his staff. It is being reported by quite a few news sources that the woman who was involved in a relationship with Letterman, lived with Halderman.
