Cate BlanchettCatherine Élise “Cate” Blanchett born May 14, 1969 . An Academy Award winning actress and also a stage director. Blanchett became popular for her film Elizabeth directed by Shekhar Kapur.

Blanchett played Elizabeth , directed by Shekhar Kapur which had come to the international attention, She and her husband Andrew Upton are currently artistic directors of the Sydney Theatre Company. She is among the very few people to win all four major cinema awards, The Oscar, The Golden Globe,The SAG Award, and The BAFTA.
