The celebrity chef has served up yet another delight, but this time round, her latest creation has nothing culinary about it, it’s more of a bouncy bundle of joy: her new little baby boy Nash, whom Cat gave birth to, recently.

According to a statement made by Cat’s representative to “OK!”, Iron Chef celebrity Cat, gave birth on July at 4:41 PST, to a bonny baby boy, who has been named Nash Lemuel Cora. The healthy little addition to Cat and wife Jennifer’s happy family, at birth weighed 7lbs 5oz and measured 20 inches.

The name Nash Lemuel, according to the couple, is significant on a number of levels. For starters, Nash translates into “the adventurer” which perfectly fits the bill, given baby Nash’s journeys to a number of far off places while still in the womb, thanks to Cat’s packed itinerary.

Also, the name shares connections with the noted poet Ogden Nash, and the Nobel Prize-winning brilliant scientist John Forbes Nash, whose story inspired the Academy Award-winning Russel Crowe starrer ‘A Beauiful mind’. Evidently, baby Nash’s mommies hope that some of the namesake greatness will rub off on their little darling. ‘Lemuel’ on the other hand, has a more closer-to-home history. It was not only the name of Cat’s maternal grandfather, but also, in Hebrew, it translates to mean “gift from God”.

Nash joins the Cora family, alongside siblings Zoran, Caje and Thatcher, the youngest who was born to Jennifer in past April. Reportedly, the same sex couple had opted for invitro-fertilization, choosing to carry each other’s eggs in their womb, in hopes of bonding better with their unborn children and furthering the intimacy that they shared as ‘woman and wife’.
