Miami, July 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Jersey Shore cast members are not happy with their contract, so they have gone on a strike.

The filming of the show was going on in Miami, but the cast of the show is so ‘dissatisfied’ with the contract that the shooting needed to be suspended in lieu of their strike. As expected there was no comment from any MTV official regarding the strike.

According to TMZ the third season of the show would start from the return of the group to Seaside Heights, which is located in New Jersey. The Jersey Shores – Season 2 would premiere on MTV from the 29th of July.

According to reports, Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino is trying to negotiate a contract for the fourth season of the show, and he is demanding $27,500-$45,000 per episode.

According to some sources, the stars of the show said that they could make the same amount of money by just making some paid public appearances, rather shoot for the show for 2 months.

The strike was started by JWoww, Ronnie, Sammi, Pauly D and Vinny who made it clear to the crew that they were not going to shoot for the 3rd season with the present contract in place.
