New Orleans, Apr 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Cash-strapped star Nicolas Cage has bought a pyramid-shaped burial tomb in New Orleans, as his final resting place. He plans to be buried there, after his death. He is already in the midst of a lot of financial problems and is also trying to sell off some of his properties, to settle debts. But still the financial problems haven’t stopped his buying spree, and his latest acquisition would be his final resting place.
It may be recalled that in October 2009, Nicolas Cage had filed the lawsuit against Samuel J. Levin and his firm. “Instead of protecting and preserving Cage’s wealth during one of the greatest economic periods in the country’s history, Levin placed Cage in numerous highly speculative and risky real estate investments, resulting in Cage suffering catastrophic losses,” the lawsuit states.
Recently the actor Nicolas Cage tried to sell off his LA mansion, but he was unsuccessful, as he was unable to find even a single buyer for his LA mansion. His LA mansion was located in the posh neighborhood of Bel-Air, but it didn’t even get a single bidder for the asking price of $10.4 million. The mansion had an area of 11,817 square-foot, and Nicolas Cage tried in vain to sell it for $35 million. Apparently the real estate agents weren’t too impressed with the interiors of the mansion, as one of them even said that, the interior design was “frat house bordello.” Some of the agents even found it bizarre that the mansion was decorated with over 300 framed comic book covers. Besides this, the mansion also had a model train set on tracks in a few rooms, along with an Olympic-sized pool and a home theatre.
