August 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Being accused of sexual harassment Casey Affleck has been caught in the eyes of law for the second time. Cinematographer Magdalena Gorka, the woman in question, has filed a USD 2.25 million lawsuit against Ben Affleck’s brother in Los Angeles Superior Court. Engaged with Casey Affleck in a documentary project, “I’m Still Here”, she alleged the star of having sexually harassed her by groping her when she was sleeping.

Throwing light on the incident, Gorka said that when the shoot was on the go in the month of December last year, they were staying at Phoenix’s New York apartment where Casey crawled slyly into her bed. Adding to the sexual harassment lawsuit against Casey Affleck is her claim to have been forced by Affleck to quit the project with incomplete pay after the incident.

The legal papers focusing on the statement given by the cinematographer state that at midnight Gorka woke with a start to find Casey lying beside her in bed and caressing her back. He was wearing a t-shirt and underwear at that time. He was lying in a curled posture putting his arm around her and his face at no distance from hers. Moreover, his breath was smelling alcohol.

For having refused to surrender to his sexual advances and serve his sexual whims, Gorka has been robbed of her photography director credit. The USD 2 million lawsuit filed by producer Amanda White against Affleck for sexually harassing her during the shooting of the documentary just a week before has added spark to the present sexual harassment case.
