September 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Mohanlal starrer upcoming Malayalam movie Casanova is finally going on floors from September 27. The film has been in the headlines starting from its grand launch. It has undergone multiple changes in the shooting schedule and the lead actors.

However, all these have made the director Roshan Andrews very cautious and he is taking all the required steps to assure that no more change in schedule is required and they go by the required dates.

Now, as per the current plan, the movie will be taking its first shot by September 27th in Dubai. A lengthy schedule has been planned there, which will followed by shooting at Bangkok and Malaysia.

Mohanlal will be playing the title role in this movie, which will also have actresses like Sameera Reddy and Lakshmi Rai.

Earlier Sriya Saran was roped in to play one of the leading actresses but she opted out of the project recently and the reason behind this decision is said to be the indefinite delay in the project. There is another buzz that Sriya moved out of the project due to the presence of other top South Indian actress like Lakshmi Rai and Rima Kallungal. In fact, she could not take up many other projects due to this film.

Casanova is supposed to be a big budget movie, which is being produced by Confident Group.
