Dec 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It has come across as a good news for the activists on Facebook who had launched the mission against child abuse. They have a pretty good reason to rejoice for the “Worldwide Violence Against Children and Child Abuse” , as it has been confirmed that a lot of people are volunteering themselves to this serious case. A report has been found that most websites had the request for the cartoons which is much required to accomplish this mission.
According to sources, a particular link of a renowned website was completely filled with the names of cartoons or words related to it for almost a span of more than one day. This shows how much people are influenced by the Facebook campaign. They have been searching for the best cartoons which were their best companions in their childhood. Cartoons are reigning as the hot searches. They have been endlessly looking for these popular characters of the animated world, mostly searching with the word “old cartoons”, as revealed by a close source associated with this statistics. The mission on Facebook was started by an unknown volunteer who came up to say that all the human profile pictures should be replaced with that of cartoon pictures related to one’s own childhood.
This was the way to remind an individual that he or she too was a child at one point of time and that before indulging in the heinous crime of child abuse or any of violence on children must take note of the fact. The campaign has successfully taken a toll with more number of people joining it by replacing their pictures with that of cartoons. Hunt for pictures of Foghorn Leghorn to Bugs Bunny, Captain Caveman, Hong Kong Phooey, Flintstones and many more are going on.
