India’s no. 1 kids’ channel, Cartoon Network launches comics of its globally popular and iconic toon stars on mobiles. Comics of kid’s favorite Ben 10, The Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo and Dexter will be now available on mobile handsets through India’s leading telecom operators that include Airtel, Idea, Reliance Mobile and TATA DoCoMo amongst others. Cartoon Network has tied up with leading mobile entertainment service provider Nazara Technologies to manage and distribute this service.
The mobile user can download Cartoon Network comics by using their GPRS connection at varied price points from Rs1/- per day, Rs. 10/- per week and Rs 30/- per month depending on their operator. Further enriching consumer’s entertainment experience, Cartoon Network will introduce a customized java application next year to download an entire Cartoon Network comic to read in one go.
