Nov. 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Miss California was forced to drop the lawsuit she had brought against her former employers on account of the leaking of a personal sex tape. Prejean was fired after she made some controversial comments on gay marriage in the question and answer round of the Miss California Pageant. Her employers, the Miss California Pageant said that she was being sacked because of her alleged failure to keep up with the regulations of the establishment. She sued the company on the grounds of leaking her secret of having undergone a breast enhancement surgery, mental torture and discrimination on the basis of religion. In return, the Pageant said that the matter had not remained a secret as she had walked in a bikini in the pageant.
Prejean was allegedly forced to drop her claims of the lawsuit after the lawyer representing the Miss California Pageant showcased some videos of the model engaged in some steamy sexual activities. The contents of the tape is reportedly extremely graphic and the tape has not seen a public release. Allegedly, after the defendant’s attorney showcased the contents of the controversial tape, it took Carrie about fifteen seconds to decide that she would withdraw her claims for a legal settlement.
Prejean demanded a million dollars from her former employers as compensation for damages. After the tape was produced in the court, she dropped all her claims. The pageant has also withdrawn it’s counterclaims and the matter ended peacefully with both parties parting ways and wishing each other luck. Although she had dropped all her claims, the pageant agreed to give 100,000 million dollars to her lawyers and publicist in an out of court settlement.
