Carrie Underwood would have cupcakes at her wedding instead of the wedding cake

Los Angeles, Mar 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Carrie Underwood is thinking about having a very different wedding. She had gotten engaged to the ice hockey player Mike Fisher in December 2009, and she says that the both of them are too busy in their careers, to focus on the elaborate wedding details.
She told CMT Radio Live DJ Cody Alan: “There’s a lot going on. They are still in the season. They actually only have a few more season games left. I’m touring until the end of June, and have a few shows in July, so we’re working on it here and there. We have a few things coming along.” She also said that, “We’re kind of doing cupcakes… I consider myself a very traditional person. More than anything, we’re going to get married, that’s the important part. And we want everyone to have a good time, so we’re doing some things like that, that are a little bit different.”
Despite being very traditional, she has decided to part ways with the wedding cake idea, and opt for cupcakes instead. She has been dating Mike Fisher for two years. And at her engagement she was presented with a huge diamond ring, but she said that she would have had been fine, without the jewelry too.
