Carrie Underwood Begins Honeymoon With Mike Fisher

July 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Carrie Underwood and her new hubby, Mike Fisher were seen at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Sunday, as their honeymoon began. Carrie was proudly wearing her new wedding band as the two laughed and smiled together.
There were over 200 guests at the Georgia wedding when the country star exchanged “I dos” with Mike Fisher. They are now said to be on the way to Bora Bora and then on to Tahiti to celebrate their honeymoon.
The 27 year old bride wore a Chantilly lace Monique Lhuiller wedding gown as she walked down the isle to pledge her love to the 30 year old groom. Carrie Underwood, a country music star married Mike Fisher, who plays for the Ottawa Senators under a tent which was pitched by the lake in Greensboro, Georgia at the secluded Reynold Plantation Resort. The entire ceremony was rumored to have cost over $500,000.
According to reports, ‘People’ magazine paid close to 2 million dollars to have exclusive rights to the wedding, and will feature pictures of the ceremony in next month’s issue. The amount of payment has not been confirmed, however. In a statement to ‘People’ the newlyweds stated, “We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!” It was signed, “Mike & Carrie Fisher.”
