Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher head for their honeymoon to Bora Bora & Tahiti

Los Angeles, July 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Newly weds Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are now heading for their honeymoon. They were spotted at the Los Angeles LAX Airport yesterday. There were reports that the lovely couple was on their way to Bora Bora and Tahiti for their honeymoon. They had gotten married over the weekend in a luxury resort.
There are reports that the wedding ceremony set back the couple by almost $500,000. The American Idol winner Carrie Underwood was dressed in a Chantilly lace Monique Lhuillier gown at her big day. Her groom is a player for the Ottawa Senators and he had dated the singer for a year, prior to their wedding. Around 300 guests at a luxury resort attended the elaborate wedding.
There are unconfirmed reports, which claim that the People magazine paid the couple $2 million for exclusive photographs of the wedding. There are also reports that People magazine would publish the pictures in their next issue.
Prior to going for the honeymoon, Carrie had said that, “[Planning] that was Mike’s project. It’s a surprise. I have no clue where we are going, which is nice. I know it will be warm, that’s about it.”
