Carrie Underwood And Brad Paisley Host CMA Awards 2010

carrieNov 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Country pop singer Carrie Underwood and veteran singer Brad Paisley returned as the hosts of 44th Country Music Awards 2010 at Nashville, Tennessee. The country music sensation Carrie Underwood along with Brad Paisley kept the audience riveted to heir seats with their jokes, puns, performances and parodies. Though the “Some Heart” singer did not bag any award but she managed to woo the hear of the audience with her performance and her witty remarks.

While speaking about Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley said that both the country artists have developed a comfortable chemistry and they do not follow any script while rehearsing for the show. He said that both of them have lot of fun while “goofing around” and they plan to host the show without any prompt. The grand show kicked off with Carrie Underwood’s performance as she sang “Songs Like This”. Keith Urban played the banjo for the song and Brad Paisley rocked in guitar. Carrie Underwood later sang “Mama’s Song” and she was praised for her performances. However, just a minute later of their first performances, the hosts of the show shouted and asked Gwyneth Paltrow, who is married to “Coldplay” artist Chris Martin, if she can provide them the ticket of her husband’s band.

Carrie Underwood also dazzled on the stage as she changed various costumes in regular intervals. However, the audience saw that mos of her costumes were black colored. She showed the audience her shiny new wedding band and at the same time she displayed her wedding ring to the audience as well. Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley made fun of Gulf of Mexico oil spill, musical parody of Brett Favre and Tiger Woods.
