Nov.20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Carol Hannah turned out to the third finalist of the popular American reality series ‘Project Runway’ which is based on fashion designing. In the recently concluded sixth season finale of the much acclaimed reality show, Carol was the first contestant to be eliminated in the final showdown in Bryant Park. In the much anticipated finale, Irina Shabayeva was ultimately crowned as the winner leaving behind Carol and the second runner up Althea Harper. Speculations were also running high regarding Carol’s appearance in the finale episode as the designer was reported to be unwell as she was suffering from a stomach condition.

In the episode, the three finalist gave each other stiff competition as all of them came up with their best collection in order to win the much coveted competition. Each contestant showcased their exclusive collection with viewers enable to predict who would be the winner till the final moments. In the finale, the finalist were also joined by the other contestants of the show who were eliminated earlier on.

The audiences were elated to see Carol recover from her illness and showcase her collection although she did not manage to deliver the final cut. Her collection at the finale was reportedly considered to be too girly and it seemed to lack a certain amount of unifying element which ultimately failed to impress the judges.

‘Project Runway’ is a popular fashion based show in which the contestants compete with each other to create clothes with unique designs in order to impress the judges.The program which has already completed its sixth season is one of the highly watched shows on Lifetime television.
