Carlos Santana Proposes To His Love Cindy Blackman

July 13, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Carlos Santana the acclaimed guitarist is going to tie knots with his girlfriend Cindy Blackman. The lady incidentally is a drummer in his band. The guitar legend proposed to the love of his life during the Universal Tone Tour In Chicago. The guitarist is now 62 while his lady love is 50 years old. The lady was delighted and she accepted his proposal and thereafter the couple kissed each other. He announced to the audience about their engagement and they congratulated the newly engaged couple.
Cindy Blackman is a rock and jazz drummer and has worked with a number of artists like Cassandra Wilson, Bill Laswell and Pharoah Sanders in her career. Carlos Santana’s proposal was not much expected to her but she had no reason to say no to the man she loves. It is going to be the sophomore marriage for Carlos Santana. Earlier he was married for 34 years to Deborah Santana and they split three years back. The couple expressed their happiness after the engagement was done. They are expected to tie the knot too but the date has not been set as yet. The fans of both the guitarist and the drummer are happy at their union.
The engagement was quite romantic and it took the audience by surprise. However, they were elated to see the lovers uniting on stage. As of now the musician is busy with his Universal Tone Tour 2010 that is yet to be finished. Possibly after the completion of the tour he will tie the knot with his beloved as his aides are expecting.
