London, July 29 (IANS) France’s first lady Carla Bruni is said to have given almost 32 retakes in five hours for a scene in Woody Allen’s next project “Midnight In Paris”.
She appeared alongside actor Owen Wilson on a busy street near the Pantheon (popular building in Paris) for a scene in the comedy film Tuesday, reports digitalspy.co.uk.
The 42-year-old, who plays the director of a Parisian museum, wore a casual white blouse and jeans for the scene.
“Carla and Woody got along incredibly well on the set. They talked constantly and laughed quite a lot between takes. Owen as well. They must have shot the same set-up, where she walks along holding a baguette in her hand going into a supermarket… around 32 (times),” said a source from the sets.
“Midnight in Paris”, which also stars Adrien Brody and Rachel McAdams, is scheduled for release in 2011.
